Simple steps for fat loss

Losing fat can be a challenging task at any age, but it can be especially difficult for people over the age of 30 and beyond. 

 

That being said, it is still possible to lose fat and improve your body composition at any age. 

 

Here are a few tips to help you get started:

 

Ger moving and exercise regularly: Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate intensity exercise per week, or 75 minutes of vigorous intensity exercise. You can split it up anyway you want by doing activities like walking, jogging, cycling, swimming, strength training, a fitness class or whatever you’re it to.

 

Eat a healthy diet: Focus on whole, unprocessed foods like fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and healthy fats. 

 

Forget about the sugary drinks and snacks, and limit your intake of added sugars and unhealthy fats. You know the ones you have crave after a long day. 

 

Go to bed and get enough sleep: Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep per night to give your body time to rest and recover.

You wouldn’t let your 4 year old stay up late because you know it’s not good for them of why would you do it to yourself? 

 

Drink up and stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day to help flush yourself out and keep your body functioning properly.

 

Stay consistent: Losing fat takes time and consistency, so be patient and stick with it. 

It can be helpful to track your progress and make adjustments to your diet and exercise routine as needed. 

 

Remember, everyone’s body is different, and what works for one person may not work for another.
